CcView is a free midi monitor for continuous midi data
(control change, pitch bend and aftertouch). Instead of the textual output of standard midi viewers, CcView displays the midi data graphically. CcView can visualize up to 20 different event streams simultaneously. Thereby no setup is needed as CcView automatically uses midi learn to detect the incoming midi event types.
UltraHold is a free midi tool for the
EWI 4000s wind controller from Akai Professional.
It enables the player to define an arbitrary pedal base note without interrupting the melody. This is done very quickly by fingering the base note while taking the left thumb away from the octave roller bar.
Additionally, the preprocessor reduces unwanted glitches caused by unprecise movements of the left thumb while playing legato. Arpeggios over several octaves and difficult triller notes (e.g. C/D) can be played much easier.
